MY STORY
FROM WALK-ON TO HEAD STRENGTH COACH.
I grew up the slowest kid on every team I joined. By 16, I'd given up on athletics —until a coach pulled me aside and said, "You don't have a talent problem. You have a programming problem."
That sentence changed my life. I spent the next decade studying every legitimate strength and conditioning system I could find-soviet weightlifting, Westside, triphasic, Joel Jamieson conditioning, FRC mobility.
I walked on as a sprinter at UT, became team captain, and stayed on as assistant strength coach. Then I went private because the athletes who needed me most weren't the ones with full scholarships.
Today I coach 30 private clients. Every single one has a real plan, real check- ins, and real results.
